Pisgah Inn

Fodor's Review:

This inn, run by a park-service concessionaire, has motel-like rooms of no distinction, but the setting, at almost 1 mi high right on the parkway, is spectacular. Rooms have small porches or balconies with rocking chairs. Although an inn has been on this site since 1919, the present structure was built in 1964. The restaurant ($-$$$) has great views to the west and offers mountain trout, along with burgers and other standard fare.

  • In-room: no a/c, refrigerator (some).
  • In-hotel: restaurant.
  • Rate includes: European Plan
  • Credit Cards: MC, V
  • Closed: Closed Nov.-late Mar.
