A slate-covered carriageway leads uphill to one of Killington's newest inns, a former executive retreat in two renovated A-frames. Rooms range in style from Colonial and Shaker to Mission, and all have a sitting area with a TV hidden behind artwork (in one room, a dollhouse rotates up to reveal the TV). Six rooms have gas fireplaces, and four have whirlpool baths. In the intimate slate-floored dining room ($$-$$$$; closed Monday and Tuesday), choose either a four-course prix-fixe dinner or order à la carte.
