Engaging hosts Tim and Amy Brady run this French-style manse and have restored some of its more interesting original features (like nickel-plated bathroom fixtures) and added new ones (like flat-screen TVs). They've made sure that it's full of thoughtful and comforting details, such as the mini-fridge stocked with complimentary soda, water, granola bars, and chips. Other indoor and outdoor treats include a hot tub, a billiard table, and the neighboring Retreat Meadows, a bird sanctuary that has good hiking trails. There's no restaurant, but a decent pub menu and wine are offered.
