Coleman Brook Tavern
Coleman Brook Tavern Review
Slopeside at the Jackson Gore Inn, Coleman Brook is the fanciest and most expensive of Okemo's 19 places to eat, but it's not formal—you'll find ski-boot-wearing diners crowding the tables at lunch. Big wing chairs and large banquettes line window bays. Ask to sit in the Wine Room, a separate section where tables are surrounded by the noteworthy collection of wines. Start with a pound of mussels steamed in butter, garlic, white wine, and fresh herbs. Then move on to the sesame seed–crusted ahi tuna served over green-tea soba noodles in a ginger-miso broth. The s'mores dessert is cooked with a tabletop "campfire."
