Merck Forest & Farmland Center Review
This 3,100-acre farm and forest is a nonprofit educational center with 30 mi of nature trails for hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and horseback riding. You can visit the farm, which grows organic fruits and vegetables (and purchase them at the farm stand), and check out the pasture-raised horses, cows, sheep, pigs, and chickens. There are also remote cabins and tent sites for rental.
