Windham Hill Inn

Windham Hill Inn Review

This remote inn is a fine choice for a romantic fancy dinner. Chef Graham Gill heads up the Frog Pond dining room (don't worry; there are no frogs' legs on the menu). Start with a spiced Vermont quail, served with hand-rolled pappardelle and a wild mushroom ragout. Entrées include a fig-and-balsamic-glazed seared duck breast served with roasted pear and garden Swiss chard and a cipollini onion and fingerling potato sauté. There's a remarkably large wine list. A four-course prix fixe is $60.
