You can thank Patti Eddington for maintaining this three-bedroom house, the best value in all of Vermont. You get a spotless and updated room in a house you can't help but feel is your own. Patti lives in an attached barn, giving you all the privacy you need, but homemade desserts and refresments are always out on the counter. The house is in the heart of North Bennington, across the street from a market and two restaurants. One room has a four-poster bed with a lovely old tub, separate shower, and great light; all three rooms are suites with private baths. Ask about the excellent dinner package.
