Fodor's Review:

A covered bridge leads to the quaint town green of West Arlington, where Norman Rockwell once lived. River Road follows along the south side of the Battenkill River, a scenic drive. If you continue west along Route 313, you'll come to the Wayside General Store, a real charmer where you can pick up sandwiches and chat with locals. The store is frequently mentioned (anonymously) in the Vermont columns written by Christopher Kimball, editor of Cooks Illustrated.
