Bistro Henry

Bistro Henry Review

The active presence of chef-owner Henry Bronson accounts for the continual popularity of this friendly place that's about $5 per dish cheaper than the other good restaurants in town. The menu works off a bistro foundation, with a peppery steak au poivre and a medium rare duck breast served with a crispy leg, and mixes things up with eclectic dishes like seared tuna with wasabi and soy; crab cakes in a Cajun rémoulade; and a delicious scallop dish with Thai coconut curry and purple sticky rice. The wine list is extensive, and Dina Bronson's desserts are memorable—indulge in the "gooey chocolate cake," a great molten treat paired with a homemade malt ice cream.
