This museum, 5 mi east of Wilmington on Route 9, houses one of New England's largest collections of mounted birds, including three extinct birds and a complete collection of mammals native to the Northeast. The museum also has live hawk and owl exhibits.

  • Open: Memorial Day-late Oct., daily 10-5; late Oct.-Memorial Day, most weekends 10-4, call ahead
