Fodor's Review

It's easy to pass by this small place housed inside a converted 1925 lunch car (diner) built in Worcester, Massachusetts, but it's one of Vermont's most romantic restaurants. The sleek red and black space amounts to an intimate, candlelit theater with just 18 seats, its stage an open kitchen whose flames flare mere feet from enraptured patrons. Performing with aplomb under the whisper of jazz is the star of the show: Michael Fuller, the dashing owner and sole chef for more than three decades. The contemporary menu, conveyed verbally each day, is based on locally available ingredients.
