Fodor's Review

The presence of chef-owner Henry Bronson accounts for the popularity of this friendly place, as does the fact that dishes cost about $5 less than at Manchester's other upscale restaurants. Bistro classics include steak au poivre and medium-rare duck breast served with a crispy leg, but Bronson mixes things up with tuna wasabi accompanied by a spicy pad thai and Sicilian salmon served with couscous. Wines are well chosen, and the desserts made by Dina Bronson, Henry's wife, are memorable. (The couple met while working in Manhattan restaurants.) Indulge in the "gooey chocolate cake," a great molten treat paired with a homemade malted ice cream.
