Fodor's Review

The presence of chef-owner Henry Bronson accounts for the continual popularity of this friendly place, as does the fact that dishes are about $5 cheaper than at the town's other upscale restaurants. The bistro menu includes classics like a peppery steak au poivre and a medium-rare duck breast served with a crispy leg, then mixes things up with eclectic dishes like tuna with wasabi and soy, crab cakes in a Cajun rémoulade, and delicious seared scallops with lemon-ginger risotto. The wine list is extensive, and Dina Bronson's desserts are memorable—indulge in the "gooey chocolate cake," a great molten treat paired with a homemade malt ice cream.
