The Arlington Inn

3904 VT Rte. 7A, Arlington, Vermont, 05250, USA

The Greek Revival columns of this 1847 home lend it an imposing presence in the middle of town, but the atmosphere within is friendly and old-fashioned. Guest rooms are dainty and Victorian, dressed heavily in florals, and spread between the main inn, the parsonage, and the carriage house. Well-tended grounds contain a gazebo, a pond, and a waterfall. The inn runs one of the area's most respected restaurants, and its little old bar is one of the most wonderful in the state.
