Mt. Mansfield. Ascending Mt. Mansfield makes for a scenic and challenging day hike. Trails lead from Route 108 (Mountain Road) to the summit ridge, where they meet the north-to-south Long Trail. Views from the summit take in New Hampshire's White Mountains, New York's Adirondacks across Lake Champlain, and southern Québec. The Green Mountain Club publishes a trail guide. Stowe, VT.
