Fodor's Review:

With a gleaming gold dome and columns of Barre granite 6 feet in diameter, the state house is home to the oldest legislative chambers in their original condition in the United States. The goddess of agriculture tops the gilded dome. Interior paintings and exhibits make much of Vermont's sterling Civil War record.
