Black Lantern Inn Review

Built in 1803 as a stagecoach stop, the inn has been providing bed and board ever since. Though the feeling is country, touches of sophistication abound. All the suites have wood-burning fireplaces. An outdoor hot tub, sheltered by a gazebo, overlooks the mountains. The restaurant serves hearty Irish-influenced fare like pesto scallops and chicken potpie, made mostly from local ingredients. The Village Tap Room serves lighter fare.
