Leunig's Bistro & Cafe

Updated 12/23/2013

Fodor's Review

This popular café delivers alfresco bistro cuisine, a friendly European-style bar, and live jazz. Favorite entrées include salade Niçoise, soupe au pistou, and beef bourguignon. Fans of crème brûlée: this place makes the best in town. A prix-fixe dinner for two goes for $30, and it's one of the city's best bargains. An expanded upstairs lounge offers cocktails, a nice wine selection, and local cheese plates and other light fare. This is a great spot for weekend

brunch.

Nice when you have time...

A great place to eat. Good food, nice atmosphere. Can be crowded. We've taken our child many times from age 2+ without a problem. Best to experience when weather is nice and the windows are open.

Families Go Elsewhere

Waitstaff and Management intolerant of children. Average food quality. Much better places to dine on Church Street.

Brunch!

Weekend brunch is worth a visit. The service is good and the food selection is more than adequate. We had waffles with strawaberries, whipped cream, and maple syrup. We also opted for a side serving maple sausage links. The food (and coffee) was served in the proper temperature by a cheerful server. In the spring and the summer, outside seating is definitely a plus.
