This popular café delivers alfresco bistro cuisine, a friendly European-style bar, and live jazz. Favorite entrées include salade Niçoise, soupe au pistou, and beef bourguignon. Fans of crème brûlée: this place makes the best in town. A prix-fixe dinner for two goes for $30, and it's one of the city's best bargains. An expanded upstairs lounge offers cocktails, a nice wine selection, and local cheese plates and other light fare. This is a great spot for weekend brunch.

A great place to eat. Good food, nice atmosphere. Can be crowded. We've taken our child many times from age 2+ without a problem. Best to experience when weather is nice and the windows are open.
