Fodor's Review

Few inns in New England garner the word-of-mouth buzz that Rabbit Hill seems to from its satisfied guests. Most of the spacious, elegant guest rooms have fireplaces, two-person whirlpool tubs, and views of the Connecticut River and New Hampshire's White Mountains. The intimate candlelit dining room serves contemporary new American and regional dishes, such as grilled venison loin with a cranberry-juniper-orange glaze. The grounds have 15 acres of gardens and walking trails. Afternoon tea in the parlor, horseshoes, dips in the swimming pond: this inn is full of small pleasures.
