Birch Ridge Inn Review

A slate-covered carriageway about a mile from the Killington ski resort leads to one of the area's most popular off-mountain stays, a former executive retreat in two renovated A-frames. Rooms range in style from Colonial and Shaker to Mission, and all have sitting areas with TVs hidden behind artworks—in one room, a dollhouse rotates up to reveal the screen. Six rooms have gas fireplaces, and four have whirlpool baths. In the intimate dining room, you can order hearty mountain fare.
