Fodor's Review

The best B&B in town has spacious, cheery, and comfortable rooms in a central setting half a block from the heart of Brandon. The Greek Revival mansion's spacious common areas are filled with lovely antiques. All rooms are furnished with claw-foot tubs and handheld European showerheads, and the grand suite has a fireplace, two-person shower, and marble whirlpool bath. Overlooking the large gardens, the elegant dining room where breakfast is served.

Elegance, Class and Charm with Gracious Innkeepers

My husband and I love country inns. We have stayed in more than a few outstanding ones, and the Lilac Inn tops them all. It was absolutely superb! The rooms were delightfully decorated, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The food was fresh, innovative and delicious, and the innkeepers, Doug and Shelly Sawyer, could not have been friendlier or more helpful. We spend a truly wonderful weekend there and hope to return soon and often.
