The Parker House Inn Review

This beautiful 1857 house on the National Historic Register was once home to Senator Joseph Parker, who also owned the textile mill next door. Completely renovated in 2013, the rooms are bright and sunny. Norwich and Hanover are the names of the two cute rooms that face the river in back—they're well worth inquiring about. Downstairs is an attractive bar area and a good French restaurant with a menu that changes nightly. The riverfront porch offers an especially pleasant view of hot-air balloons taking off in summer.
