Maple Leaf Inn

Fodor's Review:

Nancy and Mike Boyle operate this traditional B&B set back far from the main road on 16 wooded acres near the center of little Barnard. The house was built in 1994 and has modern features like radiant floor heat. Victorian appointments make it feel like its been here quite a while—while still maintaining a spotless order. The light and airy rooms have king-size beds and big whirlpool or soaking tubs. Most rooms have wood-burning fireplaces and sitting areas. The inn includes a pillow library, where you can "check out" pillows of varying firmness. Pros: clean, quaint rooms; great front porch. Cons: a 10-minute drive from Woodstock, doesn't feel rustic.
