Built by Union Pacific Railroad in 1925, the original lodge was destroyed by fire in 1966. Today's scenic structure recaptures the look and feel of the first building. Some of the original cabins are still in use today. Set on a sprawling lawn shaded by giant cottonwoods, the lodge has a restaurant, snack bar, gift shop, and a spacious patio with rocking chairs with views of the canyon. It's 3 miles north of Canyon Junction.
