Lodging within Zion is very limited and rustic. Still, in the summer high season, you'll want to make reservations if you want to stay in or close to the park. Nearby Springdale has many lodging options, from quaint smaller motels and bed-and-breakfasts, to upscale hotels with modern amenities and riverside rooms. If you are willing to find a room upward of an hour or two away, perhaps with fewer amenities, you may be surprised not only by same-day reservations in some cases, but also much lower room rates. Panguitch and Hurricane have some particularly good options for budget and last-minute travelers.
