Originally an 1880s schoolhouse, the inn has high, vaulted ceilings, cherry wainscoting, and a stunning center staircase leading to the bell tower. The large rooms and suites have Victorian-era furnishings with country-style wall coverings, handwoven area rugs, tile-and-stone flooring, claw-foot tubs, and, in some rooms, four-poster canopy beds. Pros: Excellent breakfast quiche (some guests demand the recipe). Located just steps from Main Street. Cons: The occasional squeaky floorboard or noisy pipe.
