Just 150 yards from Park City Mountain Resort, this classic skiers' lodge has been run by the Hosenfeld family since 1963. The rooms aren't fancy, but they're clean and the service is as friendly as you'll find anywhere. You can choose one queen or a double and a twin. Or, if privacy isn't a must, you can rent a bed in the dorm room for $35 a night, which also includes the Continental breakfast. Pros: Comfortable, inexpensive place for outdoor enthusiasts to crash. Longtime local owners. Cons: If you're looking for cushy pampering or fancy eggs-benedict breakfasts, look elsewhere.

The location is great close to a Park City lift and an easy walk to the shuttle bus to other areas. The feel is of an old-fasion ski lodge. The staff is friendly and helpful and the price can't be beat. I'll keep comming back.
