On the Park City golf course, this all-suites hotel is built in the tradition of the grand old lodges of the West and furnished with leather furniture, marble bathrooms, and rustic luxury in all the details. Each room has a private balcony or patio, fireplace, and jetted tub, and the cottages have hot tubs. The 8,500-square-foot spa includes everything you'd expect with extras like a yoga room and a candlelit couples treatment room. Pros: Location close to town and the ski hills. Grand lodge-style rooms with views. Bulgari bath products. Cons: Though front desk staff is friendly, there's a whiff of pretension here.

Service must have made a 360 turn since the last review !! Service could not have been better - the staff was beyond execellant !! and I'm picky ! We did have to wait for our room to be ready but in turn they gave us an upgrade, while we relaxed in their beautiful lobby facing the slopes and having coffee. I never had to open one door - someone was always there to open doors, store your skis, warm & dry your boots, call for a taxi, give sightseeing advise, etc. What a great ski trip !! What more could you ask for ? I will definitly go back and highly reccommend this wonderful hotel. The room was spotless, wonderful bathroom with jaccuzi, fireplace, I could go on and on ! This is a must see for yourself ! It's not cheap but worth every penny - be sure to ask about the package deals they have.

The worst staff I've ever encountered at a luxury hotel. If you're used to the Ritz, forget about this place. Staff (up to management) responds to any request with resentment, even hostility. For example, we called ahead for an early check-in. No guarantee, they say. We call the morning of arrival - can't guarantee anything, but we'll take your cell #. You're telling me that with check-out at noon, you can't get one room ready before 4pm? Four hours?!? Then we show up at 12:30, where else are we going to go. Now they're mad. And they have no record of my cell #. Despite pleas all the way up to the manager, they make us wait until 4pm on the nose. And this is the off season!! They've got vacant rooms on their website (which we can check in the lobby). Later, the concierge doesn't know Gorgoza park is closed for the season and sends us on a wasted trip out of town (with some very disappointed kids). The cleaning service is understaffed. Forget about getting your room cleaned while you're at breakfast or lunch. The clean when they want to. This place charges a bundle and I get better service from a Holiday Inn. Park City is great, just don't stay here.
