Dixie Red Hills Golf Club. Well known as the first golf club developed by the city, this popular course in the heart of St. George has been a favorite of golfers in Southern Utah for more than 40 years. Featuring stunning views of red cliffs, the 9-hole course has gorgeous greens surrounded by cottonwood, pine and other trees, providing welcome shade in the hotter months. Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club. Opened in 1996 and surrounded by a spectacular desert landscape, this Johnny Miller–designed course was featured in the Disney movie, High School Musical 2. Winning numerous accolades for its greens and clubhouse, the private course is available to members of the Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club and to guests staying at the Inn at Entrada. Stay and play packages are available. Featuring a mix of challenging terrain and incredible views from most tees, it offers golfers of every skill level a memorable experience. 2511 W. St. George Golf Club. A favorite of local golfers for more than 30 years, this municipal course has a more traditional feel, with straight fairways offering average golfers a chance to make putts at longer distances. With its open course layout, it's a very walkable course. Southgate Golf Club. Featuring greens that wind around the Santa Clara River and gorgeous views of the hillsides surrounding the city, this 18-hole public course is fun for all levels, but also provides plenty of challenges. On the front nine water hazards from the lake and river frequently come into play. Sunbrook Golf Club. With three separate courses featuring 27 championship holes, this golf club was rated one of the top 50 municipal courses in the country and it will test every skill level. The 5th hole at the Pointe looks easy until golfers realize it's a par four right next to a desert cliff. The Woodbridge course is known for its 5th hole offering scenic lake views and ample chances for a bogey. Black Rock Nine has three holes carved from lava rock, with the par four 7th being one to watch out for. 2366 W. Coral Canyon Golf Course. North of St. George, at the Zion National Park exit, this demanding course designed by Keith Foster is surrounded by dramatic Southwestern Utah scenery. With 100 acres of turf, two lakes, 55 bunkers and a maze of dry washes thrown in for fun, the four-season course offers golfers a chance to enjoy views of Bryce Canyon, Pine Valley Mountain, and Zion National Park. 1925 N. The Ledges Golf Course. Seven miles north of St. George, this state-of-the-art course designed by Matt Dye features meticulously maintained greens and an impressive backdrop of red rock combined with panoramic views of Snow Canyon State Park.
