Fodor's Review:

Minutes from downtown but in a world of its own, this serene, luxurious resort and inn consistently ranks among the best in the world. Here you can arrange your days around morning hikes, golf or tennis lessons, exercise classes, massage therapy, facials, and delicious low-calorie meals. All meals, and some spa services, are included in the weekly rate. Dozens of fitness classes are offered, as well as guided treks into the red rock canyon country surrounding the resort. A three-day minimum stay is required. Pros: Fourteen tennis courts, seven swimming pools, and a 4,000-sq-ft gym pamper athletes. Cons: Setting is adult-oriented (which may not be a negative for some); children under 10 not allowed in dining room.

  • Hotel Details: 45 suites
  • In-room: safe, refrigerator, Internet, Wi-Fi.
  • In-hotel: restaurant, golf course, tennis courts, pools, gym, spa, laundry service, parking (free), some pets allowed.
  • Rate includes: 3 meals
