Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum

Fodor's Review:

Chances are the Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum in St. George is unlike any museum you've ever seen. This modern 25,000-square-foot facility displays more than 300 species of wildlife (stuffed) from around the globe, displayed in an uncanny representation of their native habitat—the plains of Africa, the forests of North America, and the mountains of Asia. A wheelchair-accessible pathway of almost ¼ mi winds through the different environments. Two waterfalls cascade from a two-story mountain, and more than 50 hidden speakers provide ambient wildlife and nature sounds. Before your tour, check out the video presentation in the 200-seat theater, and be sure not to miss the massive bug collection.

  • Cost: $8
  • Open: Mon. noon-9, Tues.-Sat. 10-6
