Business Hours in Salt Lake City

Most retail stores are open daily 9 am or 9:30 am to 6 pm or 7 pm in downtown locations, and until 9 pm or 10 pm in suburban shopping malls. Downtown stores sometimes stay open later Thursday and Friday nights, and many shops close their doors on Sunday. Normal banking hours are weekdays 9-5; some branches are also open on Saturday morning. Museums are generally open weekdays and Saturday 10-6; some have shorter hours on weekends, and still others are closed Sunday and/or Monday.
