Salt Lake City International Airport is 7 mi northwest of downtown. It's served by American, Continental, Delta, Northwest, Southwest, JetBlue, Frontier, Skywest, US Airways, and United.

All the major car-rental agencies have desks at the airport. To drive downtown, take I-80 east to North Temple, which leads directly to the city center. A taxi ride from the airport into town will cost about $15. The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) runs buses between the airport and the city center. Most downtown hotels offer guests free shuttle service.
