Fodor's Review:

Once a meeting place for politicians in the Utah Territory, Council Hall is now headquarters for the Utah Office of Tourism. You can pick up brochures and books on tourist destinations throughout the city and state, and ask questions of knowledgeable staff. A small gift store carries Utah books and gifts.

Historic, but mainly for souvenir shopping

This building is across the street from the State Capitol Building. It's historic and attractive from the outside, but not worth a stop-in unless you're keen to find souvenirs or tourist info.
