This Hilton is one of the city's largest and best-appointed places to stay, and it's within walking distance of all downtown attractions and many great restaurants. Its on-site restaurants and bars are so good they're destinations for locals. Like many Salt Lake hotels, it also caters to skiers by offering complimentary ski storage. Knowledgeable staff can usually fill visitors in on the various ski resorts and rental shops. Some room packages include breakfast. Pro: Walking distance to Temple Square and other downtown sights. Con: Some might find the size—500+ rooms—somewhat overwhelming.
