It seems like sacrilege given that the place is in the desert, but a prominent magazine (Sunset) named Lone Star's signature fish tacos as "best in the western USA." some excellent, cheap Mexican food—including house special fish tacos, handmade tamales, burritos of all types, and plenty of chilled Mexican beer. It seats less than 50, so fall back on the drive-through window for takeout, if necessary.
