Lone Star Taqueria
Lone Star Taqueria Review
This place is hard to miss. Look for the lime-green building surrounded by a fence topped with old cowboy boots, and fronted by an old sticker-covered car that looks as though it crashed through the fence. Amid the concrete floors, metal tables, and bright umbrellas, there's some excellent, cheap Mexican food to be had—including house special fish tacos, handmade tamales, burritos of all types, and plenty of chilled Mexican beer. There's a drive-through window for takeout, too.

Too bad the guy with his girlfriend didn't bother to read the sign asking patrons to NOT throw their aluminum pan away. This place has the BEST fish tacos, recognized by SUNSET magazine as one of the best anywhere. Ditto on the comment about great way to cap off a day on the slopes!
