Some would call this popular bar-restaurant more of a "meet market," but it's a fun and upbeat place. Popular items include the clam chowder, crab and shrimp cocktails, and more expensive seafood entrées. The decor features original hand-painted pillars, rounded booths that face the action, and televisions on at all hours. The Market Street Oyster Bar is a private club (which means you have to buy a temporary membership for $4) adjoining the Market Street Grill.
