Fodor's Review

Because it encompasses 74,000 square feet and more than 20 galleries, you'll be glad this modern facility has a café and a sculpture court—perfect places to rest. Special exhibits are mounted regularly, and the vast permanent collection includes Egyptian, Greek, and Roman relics; Italian Renaissance and other European paintings; Chinese ceramics and scrolls; Japanese screens; Thai and Cambodian sculptures; African and Latin American artworks; Navajo rugs; and American

art from the 17th century to the present.

Not much to the permanent collection

What will make or break this museum for visitors are the temporary exhibitions. The permanent holdings here are somewhat sizable but not especially interesting. Better art than that found at the Museum of Church History and Art, though.
