Take a 90-second ride up the funicular to this lofty hotel in Deer Valley. Rooms have Australian hardwood flooring, marble baths, and high-tech touches like iPod docks and fireplaces that start with a switch. Dine at award-winning chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten's J&G Grill, après-ski on the "beach" or beside the 40-foot-long "wall of fire," or relax by the heated infinity pool. Don't miss the champagne in the wood-paneled library or the relaxing treatments in the 17,000 square-foot Reméde Spa and fitness center. There's also a wine bar with a 3,000-bottle cellar. Oh, and the bird's-eye views are far from shabby.
