Silver Star Review

Winning numerous awards, this slope-side property has ski-in, ski-out cottages, condos, and town homes. Timber beams, hardwood floors, and corrugated metal pay homage to the area's silver-mining past, while fireplaces, hot tubs, and balconies give a hearty dollop of comfort to the skiing crowd. Located in a residential neighborhood a few miles from Old Town, Silver Star has its own chairlift, café, ski and bike shop, and artist-in-residence program. Hop on the beloved Spiro mountain-biking trail behind the property, watch golfers from Silver Star Café's deck, or ride up Park City Mountain Resort's chairlift for a taste of powder. One of the three restored mining-era buildings houses the offices of independent film gurus the Sundance Institute.
