Park City silver miners once soaked in the hot springs of this resort, which has been in operation since 1886. Garden walkways lead between cottages and the main building at this sprawling country retreat with a steamy, natural crater at its center. Rooms and common areas are decorated in traditional period furnishings.

This is a beautiful, charming resort only fiftenn minutes from Park City. Four of us stayed in a beautiful, two bedroom condo adjacent from the main lodge. It was equipped with all the comforts of home, with a few exras. Although each condo is individually owned and furnished differently, ours had crown moulding, tile floors, granite fireplace and countertops, sleigh beds, and a jacuzzi tub. The main hotel is historic and very charming. The staff
goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Their restaurant Simon's is outstanding. We enjoyed soaking in the crater, sitting in the outdoor jacuzzi, the cross-country skiing, and country atmosphere. The value is extroidinary, especially because of it's proximity to Park City. We stayed seven nights at the Homestead Lodge and plan on returning next year.
