Park City and the Southern Wasatch Restaurants

Shabu Review

Hip Asian cuisine matches the chic interior of a restaurant that draws visiting Hollywood types and in-the-know locals. Maximizing its tiny Main Street space, Shabu's red-hued dining room epitomizes "cool," which makes sucking down a Peach Ball sake martini perfectly acceptable. The firecracker shrimp, volcano sushi roll (tuna, wasabi, pineapple, jalapeno, and cilantro) and namesake shabu shabu, a Japanese hot pot, are all favorites. Dress is casual, but jeans that cost more than a suit aren't uncommon.
