Park City and the Southern Wasatch Sights

Utah Olympic Park Review

At this, the site of the 2002 Winter Olympic bobsled, skeleton, luge, and ski-jumping events, you can take ski-jumping lessons or strap in behind a professional driver for a bobsled ride down the actual Olympic course. The 400-acre park also serves as an official year-round training site for members of the U.S. Ski Team. In summer, check out the freestyle ski jumpers doing flips and spins into a splash pool and Nordic jumpers soaring to soft landings on a synthetic outrun. Ride one of two zip lines—the extreme version parallels the K-120 jump—or zoom down the steel track of the Quicksliver Alpine Slide. There's also an interactive ski museum and an exhibit on the Olympics; guided tours are offered year-round, or you can take a self-guided tour.
