Despite an off-the-beaten path location 2 miles south of Brigham City, this family-owned eatery is one of the most visited restaurants in Utah. The Maddox family has been serving down-home Western food—fried chicken, prime rib, and bison steak—since 1949. Portions are big enough to satisfy a ranch hand, and the fresh-baked dinner rolls served with raspberry butter are as popular as any entrée. Every dish is made from scratch, and side vegetables and salads are prepared
with locally grown produce. People drive here from surrounding states just for a slice of the fresh peach pie in season. Reservations are recommended even on weeknights, and kids eat free on Tuesday night. Everything on the regular menu can be ordered at the drive-thru if you're in a hurry or want to take food back to your hotel.
