Rooster's Brewing Company and Restaurant Review
On historic 25th Street, this brewpub is set in a 104-year-old building that was once a Chinese laundry. The pub offers excellent food and libations brewed on-site. Pizzas, steak, and daily seafood specials are popular, as is the herb-crusted rack of lamb. Wash down your meal with a Polygamy Pale Ale or any of the two dozen brewmaster's specials, which vary by season. On a sunny day ask for a seat on the patio, which is partly glass-enclosed for year-round seating and makes for a lovely spot to enjoy Sunday brunch. The same great food and beer are now available at a second location in Layton, but the original has unique historic charm.
