Crumb Brothers Artisan Bread Review

If you're craving outrageously tasty pastries or thick-crusted artisan breads, this beloved bakery set in a 1930s Arts and Crafts-style building is your place. Try the apple puff turnovers, cinnamon pull-apart bread, or delicious chocolate-filled croissants. A cup of tea pairs nicely with the traditional English lemon scones, but it's hard to pass up a slice of fruit tart or yummy coffee cake, or the popular ginger cookies spiced up with chunks of crystallized ginger. In summer, take your treats onto the patio overlooking a landscape of native grasses, flowers, and sage. Get there early, though; hours are 7 am-1 pm Monday through Saturday.

    Logan's Little Secret

This is the first stop on our first morning in Logan, no matter the time of year. Their breads and pastries are on a par with the best found in Europe. The bakery is environmentally sensitive, using solar power as much as possible. The proprietors were the former owners of the Grapevine Restaurant (best in Logan) and tired of the restaurant business, opting for a new challange. They have exceeded expectations. It is a MUST stop before you leave town. Be sure to get there EARLY, or you will miss out on the special goodies.
