Fodor's Review

The Railroader's Festival takes place annually on the second Saturday in August. Visitors of all ages enjoy reenactments of the celebration of the transcontinental railroad completion, talks by railroad historians, and games including a spike-driving contest and handcar rides. Festival admission is free.
