The Weber and Ogden rivers provide high-adventure rafting and kayaking, and even a free downtown white-water park. Eleven public courses await golfers, and Olympic-caliber skiing is just up the canyon.

From an urban stroll along the Ogden River Parkway to a challenging hike on the Beus Canyon Trail to the summit of Mount Ogden, hikes in the Ogden area provide something for everyone. Most of the trail system is connected in some way to the North–South Bonneville Shoreline Trail, a pathway following the high mark of prehistoric Lake Bonneville along the Wasatch Front. An excellent resource for detailed trail information is Weber Pathways, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and maintaining nonmotorized pathways in Weber County. For a white-water adventure the whole family can enjoy, try rafting the Weber River on a tour with Park City Rafting.
