Authentic Thai food isn't what you expect in the middle of the desert, and that's exactly what makes this smallish, central place so liked by locals. Some of the tastiest dishes here are the noodle options, such as the tangy pad Thai or the spicy, panfried drunken noodles. The best deals are the lunch specials, which feature many of the dinner items in combination plates for a good deal less than the dinner prices. If it looks crowded, however, you might want to find other eats; it has famously spotty service and quality when busy.
