Moab and Southeastern Utah Hotels

The View Hotel

  • Wonderful views from private decks
  • The only hotel actually inside the tribal park

  • Architecture inside and out isn't that interesting
  • Since it opened, Internet has only been available in the lobby and restaurant, though Wi-Fi throughout the rooms is supposed to be installed in the future
  • Bad cell-phone reception

Fodor's Review

Aptly named, the brand-new View Hotel really is all about the vista. Prices for a standard room increase the higher the floor, and each room has windows that look out to the Navajo Tribal Park's famous sandstone "mittens." The digs are fairly ordinary, except for the Navajo sand paintings, authentic rugs, and traditional bed spreads. Each room is also outfitted with a microwave, refrigerator, and flat-screen TV. It's enough to give the historic Goulding's Lodge nearby

a run for its money.
